Esther C. Kane, CAPS, C.D.S.

Esther C. Kane, CAPS, C.D.S., obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. 

Her career as an Occupational Therapist has spanned many years, specializing in treating adults with neurological impairments such as stroke, head injury, dementia, and Alzheimer’s.

Her training in working with adults provided extensive experience in home safety assessments and a deep knowledge of necessary home modifications to ensure older adults' safety in their home environments. 

In 2019, she became certified as a Senior Home Safety Specialist through the Age Safe America organization, an AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) Approved Provider. In 2022, she also obtained certification as a CARES® Dementia Specialist (C.D.S.).

Robin Schiltz

Robin Schiltz, C.D.S., has extensive experience as a hands-on caregiver, having cared for her parents, who lived to the ages of 89 and 98. 

Her caregiving journey began when her mother was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a terminal brain tumor, and given 4-6 weeks to live and lived for 3 months.

Robin is married,  a proud mother of two adult children, a breast cancer survivor, a romance author, and a runner.

She has been in the dental field for four decades, working as a dental hygienist for over 25 years.

In 2019, Robin became certified as a Senior Home Safety Specialist through the Age Safe America organization, an AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) Approved Provider. 

In 2022, she earned certification as a CARES® Dementia Specialist™ (C.D.S.) through HealthCare Interactive®.
